Janelle reached out to me about studio bridal portraits after her wedding day. A fun backstory – Her and I became aquatinted because she was my midwife. Janelle’s calm yet confident energy made an immediate connection and impression on me, creating a sense of trust and comfort. It became clear that her presence would be essential in the room during the birth. The excitement of capturing her portrait at one of the most significant and beautiful times of her life added a layer of meaning to the experience, making it a true privilege to document such a special moment. Her strength and serenity were reflected in this shoot, capturing not just her outer beauty but the deep, inner radiance.
There isn’t another chance other than your wedding day to wear your dress. And what a shame! Wedding dresses can be so expensive and don’t get the opportunity to see the light of day again after the wedding day. This bridal portrait session at Pixel Studio‘s was the perfect chance for Janelle to experience her bridal gram all over again.
Creating the canvas backdrop for the shoot was deeply meaningful, especially with Janelle’s idea to incorporate her wedding colors into the finished design. This personal touch added an emotional layer to the session, reflecting the essence of her special day. The backdrop became more than just a setting; it was a celebration of Janelle’s journey and the love she was about to embark on. As we worked together, the connection between the backdrop and her story grew, making the final images not just beautiful but truly resonant with her personal narrative.
