Could not have made a better decision with our wedding than get Taylor to do our photography. She bent over backwards to make it happen despite the date changing at the last minute due to a hurricane and produced some of the best photos i could have ever even imagined. So many of our guests commented what an amazing job our photographer did. These photos captured the pure essence of our day and will be treasured forever. Cannot recommend more highly!!

Simply put, Taylor is the best.
Let me preface this review by stating that having my picture taken is amongst my very least favorite things to do. I hate being the “center of attention,” and almost inevitably, I won’t like the way I look. Now, Taylor created an environment that even I, the self-proclaimed grinch of photography, was comfortable in. In fact, comfortable is an understatement. My wife and I had a blast throughout the whole process.
Holy moly. I didn’t even mention the photos themselves. They’re incredible. We will cherish them forever and feel that they perfectly encapsulate our wonderful day - and our marriage and relationship more broadly. The diversity of shot is tremendous; some posed, some candid, far-away, close-up, etc., etc. Perhaps my favorite thing about the photos themselves, in addition to capturing our love, is the presence and use of the nature and landscape. The natural world has been a constant theme of our love and time together, and I’m so glad we got so many beautiful shots.
Again, our experience all around was incredibly positive, and we’d both recommend Taylor to anybody.

I saw TLC wedding photography on Instagram while looking for a wedding photographer. I saw her work and immediately fell in love. We began communicating and set the date! TLC communicated clearly and quickly. Then, on the wedding day, she made me feel so comfortable and captured beautiful moments that my husband, family, and I can enjoy forever. Taylor did an AMAZING job with our wedding. We did not have a very set schedule and she was totally comfortable going with the flow. She had incredible suggestions on how to position us with the light at each photo location. And we had a lot! We were on folly beach, the hotel, downtown Charleston, and Bowen’s island. She also took beautiful candid photos as well. We ordered a photo book that she put together and it is gorgeous! In addition to the pretty photos Taylor herself is so nice and friendly and so fun to be around. I absolutely would recommend Taylor to anyone looking for beautiful photos for any type of event.

We were drawn to her from the documentary style of her pictures and her incredible eye for design and we're so happy she was available on our date. She got to know us as a couple and truly made us feel at ease the whole day. We hired Taylor to shoot our wedding in September! From the very beginning, she was easy to work with, very responsive, and truly cared about making sure she captured our wedding day how we wanted it! We were able to get an engagement shoot done prior to our wedding, and the photos turned out fantastic! She made time to come to our venue a month before with us to scope out best photo locations for various things: first look, bridal party, etc and put together a thoughtful package of her ideas on which area would be best for each wedding photo event. It made coordination of the wedding day easy since our planner and I knew exactly where everything was going to take place! Aside from the organization, the photos that Taylor captured were exactly what I was looking for! I shared a couple of ideas of what I wanted and she was able to capture the same shots! Taylor turned around our wedding album very quickly and I still feel the wedding love and emotions every time I look at them. Thank you Taylor for everything!!! <3

Taylor totally exceeded our expectations capturing our intimate wedding ceremony and reception. Having never worked with a professional photographer before, we had an initial phone call with Taylor to go over what exactly we were looking for, expectations, etc. I could immediately tell she was kind, professional and had a very intuitive nature about her. It was a perfect fit. Taylor checked in on us from time to time and prior to our special day were sent a questionnaire to learn a little bit more about our style and vision. Our actual wedding day was a dream and was captured so beautifully and authentically. Taylor made us feel so comfortable and her intuitive nature came into play when capturing photos of us. We are over the moon happy with how the photos came out! For anyone looking to hire a photographer in the area, we would recommend Taylor 10/10 times! It was worth the investment, and you may even gain a sweet friend out of it :)
